I’M MEL (she/her), a highly collaborative design-centric structuralist with 15 years of specialty CPG experience from creative strategy to production including brand architecture, branding, typography, packaging, and tangible designs. Working across functional teams, my work strives to create micro-experiences between brand and shopper, using creative to generate relationships through sincere interaction. Immersive engagements with brands have built a knowledge base bridging strategy with targeted & successful brand design at any stage of a brand’s lifecycle — vc, small business, acquisition, corporate brand design, and advertising.

You can usually find me looking for a new view of some kind: sipping a hot cuppa tea with a book, getting fresh air on bike, board, or on the road, exploring natural and man-made ecosystems, experimenting with new processes, cooking or baking beyond reason, restoring my 100 year old house, planning a Halloween party, or most frequently absorbing information about the human condition and slowing down at my loom.
